Someone walked over my grave

The phrase someone walked over my grave or someone walking over my grave refers to a sudden feeling of cold or a shiver.[1] A variant of this phrase is "A Goose walking over your grave." It is possible that this idiom developed from a medieval mindset in which the details of one's death, including one's eventual resting place, was already predetermined.[1]
